The kitchen is fully fitted with a dark stone splashback and timber cabinetry. Three bedrooms open onto their own terraces through sliding glass, each with air conditioning and a ceiling fan, and bathrooms are finished in the same warm stucco with walk-in showers. The residence is presented furnished, and the vertical arrangement over three floors gives each level a distinct degree of privacy.

Beach Level

At ground level the building opens onto a pool deck laid in hardwood, with a palapa bar, hammocks and loungers set just back from the water line. The beach is directly in front, with no road between the building and the sand.

Tankah Bay

Tankah Bay sits roughly midway between Tulum and Akumal, a quiet stretch of coast where mangrove runs behind the beachfront strip and the road in carries little through traffic. Density stays low and development is spread thin along the shore, which is much of the reason the bay has kept the character it has while the coast either side of it has filled in.
