The community

The golf course is the spine of the place and it is the reason most owners are here. Around it sit tennis and paddle courts, pools, a clubhouse, restaurants and a beach club run for residents, with a supermarket and pharmacy inside the gates. Roads are paved and lit, and the perimeter is staffed day and night.

A front desk operates in the building, which is what makes these units workable as a rental without an owner on the ground.

Who it suits

This is a buyer who wants a golf and beach base with no maintenance to manage. The community is fully built out and running, so what you see is what you get, and the services are already in place rather than promised.

Getting there

Bahía Príncipe sits on the inland side at Akumal, about 25 minutes from Tulum and 35 from Playa del Carmen, with Cancun airport roughly an hour and a quarter north. Akumal bay, the turtles and the reef are the nearest coast.
