The penthouses

Three are available. Penthouse 6 and Penthouse 7 are each 300 square metres inside with 223 of exterior, 523 in total or 5,630 square feet, at $5,213,975 and $5,220,521. Penthouse 9 is 327 inside with 262 of exterior, 589 in total or 6,340 square feet, at $5,932,500. All three have four bedrooms, three on the main level and a fourth on the roof, plus a service bedroom, two parking spaces and a storage room.

The roof

The upper floor is what separates these from everything below. It holds an integrated family room and the fourth bedroom with blackout curtains, a full bathroom and a half bathroom in stone, and outside a marble infinity pool on the terrace, an outdoor kitchen, an outdoor shower, stone floors and hurricane rated gates. An internal staircase with courtesy lighting connects the two levels. Twelve were built across the eleventh and twelfth floors and nine have sold.

The Residences at The St. Regis Costa Mujeres Resort

Costa Mujeres sits north of Cancun, across the water from Isla Mujeres, twenty minutes from the airport and in front of the largest coral reef in the northern hemisphere. The residences occupy their own part of the resort with a separate owners entrance, and they carry the St. Regis service model with them: a butler, a doorman, valet parking around the clock, housekeeping and a concierge who books everything from a car to a dinner table. Sordo Madaleno designed the building, Maat Handasa the landscape, and AB Living Group is the developer.

How the residences are specified

An integrated kitchen with a stone worktop and appliances of the Sub Zero, Wolf or Smeg order, including a wine cooler and a dishwasher. Bathrooms in marble with porcelain fittings and a freestanding bath in the master. A separate laundry room, a pantry, a storage room, a wine cellar, an owners closet, large walk in wardrobes and a master bedroom with its own dressing room and en suite. Every residence has a service bedroom and parking.
