The penthouse

Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a guest toilet and a further bathroom on the roof, five and a half in all. The living and dining room is a single wide space in stone with glass on two sides, the kitchen in pale oak with a marble island, a television room, a laundry and a service room with its own bathroom. A sculptural stone stair spirals up to the private roof, which holds a jacuzzi, a grill and bar, a dining area, a lounge and a sun deck, with the marina, the Hotel Zone towers and the Caribbean in front of it. Alba

Alba is a building of thirty homes, twenty six apartments and four penthouses, designed by Archea Associati of Florence and built by a developer with twelve years of vertical projects in Cancún behind it. It is finished and photographed as it stands. Every apartment comes with two parking spaces, three for the penthouses, and a storage unit in the basement.

The shared floors run from a lobby, pool and sun deck at garden level with a gym, business centre and entertainment room beside them, up to a sky jacuzzi on the fifth floor and, above that, a roof grill with a bar and dining under pergolas and a sky terrace for events, both looking over Puerto Cancún to the sea.

Puerto Cancún

Puerto Cancún is the gated marina and golf community where the Hotel Zone, the city and the Caribbean meet. Alba sits 150 metres from the marina, which is planned as the largest in Cancún with more than 450 berths and room for yachts to 200 feet, and 350 metres from the shopping centre with its 122 units, cinemas and restaurants. The Tom Weiskopf 18 hole par 72 golf course, the beach club with its pools and restaurant on the sand, and the sailing club are all within five minutes, and the airport is twenty.

$40,850,000 MXN, about $2,402,941 USD at 17 pesos to the dollar. The peso figure is the asking price and the dollar figure moves with the rate.
