The main house

The beach and the pool

The pool runs the length of the terrace toward the water, with loungers, umbrellas and daybeds along it and a hammock deck under the palms. Beyond that the garden gives directly onto white sand. The plot is 29,590 square feet against 6,275 square feet of building, so the great majority of the land is garden, beach and open ground.

Where it sits

This is the stretch of the Tulum hotel zone that people walk: Scorpios, Gitano Beach, Nomade and Casa Malca are all within walking distance. At the same time the entrance to the Sian Kaan Biosphere Reserve is only 100 metres away, so the road south of the house runs into protected coast rather than more development. That combination, a walkable position on the strip with the reserve immediately beyond it, is the reason this part of the beach road is hard to buy into.
